Explore the exciting medium of visual communication through the art of illustration. Developing a creative concept with a clear objective from start to finish, you will learn the process of illustrating for a variety of genres: from event posters to editorial illustration, music industry, and t-shirt design. From conceiving a visual idea to sketching, coming up with multiple drafts, and finalizing a finished product in Photoshop, you will have a chance to practice your drawing skills and design skills in a fun, project-based class environment.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THIS COURSE
1. How to work within client constraints and deadlines
2. Brainstorming ideas and sketching multiple concepts
3. Scanning and formatting correctly in Photoshop
4. Tonal and color techniques in Photoshop to correct files
