We'll see a set of my recent discoveries from my research in the Free Library's Fine Art Print collection, with special emphasis on screenprints from Philadelphia printmakers.

Come discover treasures in Philadelphia’s special collections! You will get special behind-the-scenes tours of Philadelphia institutions, where you will see fine art prints and printed ephemera, not normally available to the public. Together we will look at prints from the past, learn how they were made, and learn how they are relevant to us today. The history of printmaking will come to life as we discover up close how artists used print processes like lithography, screen printing, and etching to make art and communicate ideas.

This tour will meet at The Free Library, located at 1901 Vine Street.

• All students registered for the Bill Brookover's Discovering Printmaking workshop will automatically be enrolled in the print tours.
