You will learn the basic skills of portrait sculpture using yourself as the model. With the use of two mirrors you will learn to see the major and minor geometric components and proportions of the head. Coordinating the front view and side profile from the mirrors you will learn how sculpt the volumes of the head. Every third class we will do a one night portrait from a model to consolidate the skills we've learned to date. This course will be beneficial for the very beginner to the advanced.
