This workshop is offered for experienced screenprint artists who wish to work in an instructed studio environment. You will develop high quality editions on paper, fabric, or other media. Water-based screenprint experience required.
What will you learn in this workshop?
1. For the beginning student: Ability to pull a screenprint with expertise and confidence after both group and individual instruction. Print at least one three color edition of 12 prints.
2. Understanding of the variety of stencil making techniques available for the screenprint artist.
3. Learn about the unique characteristics and endless possibilities of the screenprint medium through its practice and through viewing examples of the screenprint medium.
4. Goals are set regarding what each student hopes to achieve on the first day of class through showing examples of their previous artwork or sketches for ideas, both printed and non–printed.
