Illustration is an art of visual communication. This class is an introduction to the concepts, techniques and methods of illustration. Developing a creative concept with a clear objective from start to finish, you will learn the process of illustrating for a variety of genres: from event posters, to editorial illustration, music industry, and t-shirt design. From conceiving a visual idea, to sketching, coming up with multiple drafts, and finalizing a finished product in Photoshop, you will have a chance to practice your drawing skills and design skills in fun, hands on projects, while working with a variety of materials.

2. Brainstorming ideas and sketching multiple concepts
3. Scanning and formatting correctly in Photoshop
4. Tonal and color techniques in Photoshop to correct files
