Week 5 for 7-9 year olds: Comic Book Creation and Global Art Passport

Comic Book Creation (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM)
To make a comic book, you'll need to design a cover, develop characters, and draw the action - and we'll do it all! We'll look at some classic comics and stories and learn how to tell the adventures of our own original characters.

Global Art Passport (1:00 PM to 3:30 PM)
Travel the world without leaving Catharine Street! Each day we'll explore artwork from Africa, South America, East Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. After encountering an artist from each region, we'll make a piece of art that respectfully draws inspiration from their work.
