This presentation will cover the cultures, natural history, economic and political developments, and

historical events that have shaped the Canadian Atlantic provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia,

and Newfoundland and Labrador, informed by two trips we have taken in our RV in 2016 and 2025.

Highlights include the first North American Viking settlement, the French Shore of Newfoundland, the

Irish Loop of the Avalon, seabird reserves, the French islands, Gros Morne National Park, Cape
