Curious about how wastewater is transformed into clean, safe water? We invite you to join us for an informative, behind-the-scenes tour of the Sturgeon Bay Utilities Wastewater Treatment Facility. This facility plays a vital role in serving the City of Sturgeon Bay while also accepting and treating septic and holding tank waste, landfill leachate and other municipal biosolids from across Door County. During this guided experience, you’ll gain insight into the treatment process, learn about the technology and environmental practices involved, and better understand the importance of wastewater management in protecting public health and local waterways.
