103 Rain Gardens 101

In-Person | Registration opens 8/5/2026 9:00 AM CDT

Protecting water quality can start in your own yard! Rain gardens can help filter out pollutants in runoff and provide food and shelter for butterflies, songbirds and other wildlife. Karen Newbern, a member of both Wild Ones and Master Gardeners, will discuss what rain gardens are, how they function, and how to establish them in residential situations. Plant lists and other resources will be discussed.
