101 Presidential Power: Are There Limits?

The U.S. Constitution establishes the three co-equal branches of government and defines generally the areas over which each branch has primary or co-equal authority.  In the past decade or so, there have been attempts by the executive branch to expand its powers.  This class will look at the basis for executive power and examine some of the primary court decisions addressing presidential power.  Given the many court challenges to the exercise of presidential power, the class will likely run three hours.
