With the holidays looming, this 2-part session is designed to enhance your overall wellness in ways that can continue long after the New Year. If your game plan is aimed at losing or maintaining a healthy weight, this session will meet your needs. Maintaining a healthy weight is a critical factor for overall wellnessWhile many set new wellness goals at the New Year, this session’s strategies will give you a head start. Participants will engage in an active session, determining their individual personal health needs confidentially, while learning practical evidence-based strategies for weight loss and weight management. Topics include options for healthy eating, physical activity, confidence-building and monitoring in ways that fit into participants lifestyles. Sustainability is key-these two sessions will provide a new start toward a healthier you. Session 1: Personalizing your nutrition plan to follow during the holiday season and beyond. Session 2: Determining a practical game-plan for physical activity that makes sense for this time of year and this time of life. Journals and handouts are provided.
