Since you are looking for more classes about Door County, we thought that we could do a brief introduction to the Door County Poet Laureate program and its past and present Laureates. Many of these are familiar faces around Door County and they have been advocates for poetry and the arts across the county. Participants will be provided with poems by the laureates, and they will read and share them with others in the class. Many of these poems are about Door County itself. Peter and I currently serve as Door County Poets Laureate (2025-2027), and we are committed to sharing both the reading and writing of poetry throughout the county.
