021 Behind the Scenes of Peninsula Players Theatre

In-Person | Registration opens 8/5/2026 9:00 AM CDT

Join Peninsula Players Theatre for an engaging behind-the-scenes experience at America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre. This program will begin with a brief historical presentation highlighting the Theatre’s founding in 1935, its artistic legacy, and changes throughout the years. Following the presentation, participants will enjoy a guided walking tour of the scenic campus along the shores of Green Bay. The experience includes an exclusive backstage tour of the theater, offering a rare look at the production process, including sets, costumes, props, and technical operations that bring each performance to life. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry, history, and craftmanship of live theatre in a uniquely beautiful Door County setting. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
