019 Basic Appliqué

Appliqué is a hand stitching technique for applying cotton fabric to a 10-inch square of fabric. Students will choose from a variety of floral designs. In the first session students will leave with the beginnings of an appliqué block. In the second session we will complete the block and discuss options for the finished block. Students need to bring a pair of small sewing scissors.
