035 Crossroads: Wildlife Migration
In-Person | Registration opens 8/6/2025 9:00 AM CDT
Migration is much more than just “birds flying south for the winter.” It occurs across many forms of life, including animals, plants, and even microorganisms. Migration involves moving between locations multiple times a year in response to seasonal and ecological factors. This class will explore what triggers these large-scale movements and the survival benefits that justify such a strenuous and often perilous journey. While we will discuss global migration trends, our focus will be on the species that pass through or make the Door County Peninsula their destination.
