100 Therapeutic Yoga for Back, Neck and Shoulders

Yoga adapted for you can be a helpful practice for anyone who wants to maintain good back, neck and shoulder health or needs to manage tension and pain. In this 4-week series, we explore resting positions to relieve tension and pain, postures for strengthening and stretching the muscles that support the back, neck and shoulders, breathing practices that help relieve muscle tension, and guided relaxation to help reduce tension and pain. You will receive a home practice to work with in between classes. If possible, we will work on the floor, in kneeling and in standing. Postures will be adapted for those who are unable to be on the floor. Have a yoga or exercise mat, blanket or towel, and a chair available.
