052 The Heins Creek Story

In-Person | Registration opens 1/8/2025 9:00 AM CST

This PowerPoint presentation is based on Marilyn’s book, The Heins Creek Story.  The unfolding story gives a glimpse into how everything that happened in the past affects how we live in the present.  The story is all about the relationships between the land, water, air, and all living things, from the first inhabitants to the people who now live in or visit Door County.  As Marilyn takes you along the trail, through the sand dunes, into the forest, and to the creek, you will see how everything is connected and flows together in the ever-changing story being told by Heins Creek, The Door County peninsula, and the Great Lakes.  Marilyn invites you to come with the question, “Where does the water come from before it flows into Heins Creek?”
