028 Crossroads: Nature and the Arts-Paintings
In-Person | Registration opens 1/8/2025 9:00 AM CST
Georgia O’Keefe allegedly wrote “I hate flowers-I paint them because they are cheaper than models and they don’t move.” But in later writings, she admitted that she painted nature so people would “really see it”. Through the centuries, many artists have painted nature, and those paintings have inspired us to look at nature more closely. This class will focus on selected paintings in the hopes of inspiring us to be more observant of the natural world.
