It may be too early for planting your annual flowers, but there are tips and tricks to take your potted flowers from basic to stunning.  We’ve all heard of “spiller, filler, and thriller”, but there is so much more that goes into designing container planters, such as ideal siting for sunlight exposure, your watering/ maintenance goals, color theory, and picking plants that have the right texture, color, and bloom duration to accentuate your house’s architecture and existing landscape.  In this demonstration, Jessica Markham, Owner of Anchors Away Garden and Gifts will show you how to create your own container “recipes” and examples of landscapes she’s designed with the same approach, but on a larger scale.
