001 A Cultural Analysis of the Great Depression

This class will analyze the culture that emerged in America during the 1930s as a response to the Great Depression. The class will examine this through art, movies, literature, sports, and the various events of the decade. It will also study the politics of the decade through the New Deal and the reaction to it economically and politically.
