Eco Printing Workshop
Adult Class | No online registration. Contact the program coordinator with questions.
In this 2 day workshop you will learn how to make botanical ‘eco prints’ on paper, and then explore ways in which the eco-printed paper can be used to make some simple booklets and cards.
Day 1 will be spent creating the eco print papers, and talking about the process.
Day 2 will involve using the some of our prints: turning them into small books & cards.
We will also talk about (and try out) some ways that the eco-prints can be embellished.
All materials will be provided (or gathered during class time!)
Friday, September 20th 1-4 p.m.
Saturday, September 21st 1-4 p.m.

Lisa Baumgartner
Lisa is primarily a bookbinder, but one who creates many of her own papers for use in the books that she makes.
The printing techniques that she uses in her work include gelli plate prints, watercolor botanical prints, eco-printing, lino cut and collagraph printing.
She has taken numerous classes in bookbinding and print making in both the U.S. and abroad.
Lisa has a small bindery in State College where she works and offers individual instruction in book binding.
