Watercolor Short Course, Pennsylvania Landscape

This 4-week short course will focus on the Pennsylvania landscape in fall colors. It could be flowers, trees, streams, farms and more. You can bring your own photos if you want. Students should have a basic knowledge of watercolor painting. Supply requirements can be discussed with the instructor.
Lena Thynell
Lena Thynell is an art instructor at the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania. Watercolor painting started out as a hobby 25 years ago. After a long career as a registered nurse, nurse midwife and department head at the local hospital in Sweden, Lena became interested in watercolor painting: watercolor has now become an important part of her life. She got her education in watercolor painting at the Gerlesborg Art school in Sweden.
Lena has participated in several juried art shows in Sweden and has recently started to show her work in the USA.
Lena is a Signature Member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, the Philadelphia Watercolor Society and the Baltimore Watercolor Society. Her paintings were accepted into the Philadelphia Watercolor Society International Exhibition of Works on Paper, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society International Juried Exhibition, and the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society Annual International Exhibition, Aqueous Open.

In my art, I aim to express a feeling or a mood of the object more than an exact picture.
