Learn how to handle drawing buildings within larger scenes, how to depict buildings without including every detail, and how to make your depiction of a variety of buildings more effective in your artwork. Learn how to suggest detail without drawing all of it and how to get the scale and perspective right. Tips will be given on representing window glass, siding, stone and brick. Learn how to use shadows to suggest
dimension and accurately create cast shadows, suggesting time of day. Students will work with some basic drawing materials as well as materials of their choosing for some of the projects.

  • This class is appropriate for all experience levels, and teens are welcome!
  • Instruction will be geared toward your choice of media; please contact the instructor for information about supplies.
