Skilled in both pastel and oil, Susan is a seasoned plein air and studio painter that will lead you to your personal color expression in the medium of your choice. The morning will begin with a short demo and a “Hands-on” focusing on methods that will aid in color expression..
The use of underpainting and color mixing will be explored in both pastel and oil. “Thumbnail Sketches” and their importance in supporting strong compositions and values within color, will help you “Target Focus” on what inspires you in the landscape. There will be personal time at your easel following the morning demo, with support and attention given at each artist’s easel. I welcome the beginner and create an atmosphere in which they can flourish and "Fear No Art"!
