You've seen his incredible birds in Fleisher’s gallery, and now is your chance to join Wind Challenge artist Peter Morgan as he teaches families to create their own ceramic birdfeeders as part of Wind Challenge 1's public events. Please note that this workshop is limited to 15 families and registration is required.

Since its inception, the Wind Challenge Exhibition Series has introduced regional contemporary art from over 300 artists to a broad audience and has helped emerging artists advance their professional careers. In 2011, a series of free-public programs led by the artists was introduced, designed to enhance the viewing experience for youth and adults.

About the artist:
Peter Morgan’s work is an exploration of issues of perception and representation and how these concerns mold our understanding of the world. Morgan is interested in both actual representations and cultural perceptions of the way things are and what makes each significant. The work examines how much of what we know of the world is through illustrations and representation rather than from personal experience and the difference between “real” versus simulated experiences.
