Learn how the textile industry, and fabrics have evolved, since the beginnings of the Philadelphia Eagles, as he traces the Eagles uniforms from 1933 thru 1993. His talk will focus on the period from 1933 thru 1963, when Mitchell & Ness was the official uniform supplier to the Eagles. Peter Capolino was the founder of the legendary American sportswear brand Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Company which specializes in recreating historically accurate professional sports uniforms for MLB, NFL, NHL, and the NBA. His uniform collections have become an established part of the sports lure of Philadelphia. He is currently working on developing vintage historically accurate shawl collared button front wool sweaters as worn by MLB teams from 1901 thru 1930. Capolino has been interviewed extensively on ABC, ESPN, and MTV. His public speaking engagements have included presentations at the Philadelphia Public Library, The National Constitution Center, and various other venues around the country.
